We've got two new girls at work. Which is awesome because it makes shelving a whole lot faster. The library was closed last Friday and Saturday for the 4th, so we were swamped on Monday. All 5-6 carts were full, and every time we got half a row done, they would bring more down. Each cart has 3 rows, and each row for the easy/Junior/ Nonfiction holds about 70 books. You can see the problem....

Went to the regional hospital to visit the sick people yesterday. One of them actually got out the day before, so we missed him. Apparently he was working on his tractor, and the tractor ran over him. It ran over his HEAD, but it didn't damage it. His brain is perfectly fine.......amazing. He did, however, break his back in about three places.

The other girl now has a rod from her hip down to her toe. Ouch. She's getting to go home today, amazingly as well. It was a pickup truck, not a 18-wheeler truck as I thought, that ran out in front of her. She would have missed him, due to being on a motorcycle and having the ability to go around vehicles, but at the last second, the truck saw that he had pulled out in front of her and *backed into* her. GAH. Idiots. We brought her balloons, and I think she liked them.

Shopped around a bit at the stores. Found me another photo cube to play around with. I've got 4 currently; two art ones, one I made for Zumi, and a Dilbert one. They cost $3 at Wal-mart, although I found one for fifty cents cheaper elsewhere.

I'm especially happy with the Dilbert cube. These images all came from the Dilbert calendars. I hate to cut them up, but I do save them for art projects such as these.

I thought about making a Pearls Before Swine cube, but I have nothing I'm willing to cut up. We'll see.
